Computer Applications Technology, commonly referred to as CAT, has become a crucial, if not essential subject for life. It is the cornerstone of many a career and the source of skills desperately needed for today’s digital age.
Union High School has made great strides since introducing the subject at the school and today the learners have unprecedented technological tools at their disposal. In order to ensure that the teaching and learning environment in Union’s CAT lab stays conducive for both the educators and learners, Union has recently taken the necessary steps to upgrade certain aspects of the CAT class.
Some of the improvements made, include a new server, which will increase the capacity of the lab, as well as improvements and upgrades to the software and other hardware components, such as screens and mice.
“We hope the improvements made will allow the learners and educators to make the most of the time afforded to them during lessons, which in turn will result in a better understanding of the subject matter and excellent performances by the learners in examinations.
