Public Speaking and Debate – Bergsig Academy is very proud of its learners in the Public Speaking and Debate Competition. When the English HL learners stepped up to the mic, they weren’t there to simply fill seats. They came with purpose, passion, and the unmistakable Bergsig spirit — and they left with accolades that prove their voices carry weight.
Junior Public Speaking Triumphs
The junior category was nothing short of electrifying, with Bergsig’s young stars commanding the stage.
The team members were:
- Warona Senne — 1st place, dazzling the judges with poise and clarity.
- Chido Masvaure — 3rd place, showing that confidence and preparation are a winning formula.
Senior Public Speaking Success
In the senior division, Thuto Modisane proved that sharp thinking and eloquence are a powerful duo, securing.
His results were:
