Five pupils from Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School participated in the annual isiZulu Speech Day contest held at Carter High School recently. This was the first time that pupils from the school took part in the competition and two managed to get second and third place in their categories. With their certificates is Busangaye Sikhalchane (left) who placed third in the poetry category and Mbalenhle Mbambo who placed second in the novel and drama quiz category.
