Men’s Open Platinum Champion. Somerset College proudly celebrates the outstanding success of Cody Davidoff. Cody is currently ranked 15th in Tennis South Africa’s Boys’ Under-14 age group. On Sunday, 17 May, Cody achieved a remarkable milestone when he was crowned Men’s Open Platinum Champion at the prestigious Cape Town Mini Series Tennis Tournament.
In a thrilling final, Cody displayed resilience and determination, defeating Jake Rotter – a former Western Province Under-18 Disas A Team player – in a nail-biting three-set battle: 6–3, 6–7, 7–6.
This victory is a testament to Cody’s talent, perseverance, and competitive spirit, and marks a proud moment for Somerset College.
