Grantleigh schools, KwaZulu Natal, hosted a memorable leadership development workshop at the school auditorium. The workshop aimed at shaping the future leaders of the school.

The event was led by Pastor Mark Dewrance. He is one of the school’s highly respected parents. He proved to be both engaging and insightful for the students in attendance.
The workshop was designed for 2025’s student leaders, including prefects, portfolio leaders, house captains, and heads of houses. Throughout the afternoon, Pastor Dewrance facilitated discussions that encouraged the students to reflect on the essential qualities of effective leadership. Furthermore the focus was on the steps they can take to grow into influential, responsible leaders.

Practical advice

The session was also filled with practical advice, thought-provoking conversations, as well as inspiring stories that challenged students to think about what it truly means to lead. Attendees left the workshop with a renewed sense of purpose. They also have a deeper understanding of their roles as leaders within the school community.
The afternoon proved to be not only a valuable learning experience. It was also an unforgettable moment that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on these young leaders as they continue to guide and inspire their peers.
At Grantleigh schools remains committed to nurturing leadership skills in its students, ensuring that they are well-equipped for the challenges of tomorrow.
