The future of KwaZulu-Natal squash is looking stronger than ever, thanks to the remarkable achievements of seven talented Michaelhouse students who have earned their places on provincial teams for the upcoming Inter-Provincial Tournaments (IPTs), taking place from 27 June to 2 July.
A Triumph Across Age Divisions. From the U14s all the way to the U19 A team, Michaelhouse will be proudly represented:
- U19 A – Justin Higginson
- U19 B – Connor Hatfield
- U19 C – Sumeshin Naidoo
- U16 B – Graeme Higginson, Cameron Hatfield, James Moodley
- U14 – Liam Muller
This wide spread of selections across age groups is a testament not only to the school’s depth of talent. But also to its enduring commitment to athletic excellence.
Guided by Experience. Adding to the excitement, Mr. Matthew Higginson and Mr. Bruere Venter have been named managers for the U19 boys and U16 girls KZN teams respectively. This is a recognition of their leadership and dedication to the sport.
More Than Just a Game. Their selection reflects hours of discipline, fierce determination, and passion—qualities that make these boys stand out on and off the court. As the IPTs approach, Michaelhouse stands proud, ready to rally behind its champions.
