Head Girl 2025. This year, schoolsthatrock is once again talking to the Head Leaders of High Schools in South Africa. Today we talk to Nokukhanya Mahlalela, Head Girl 2025 of Curro Secunda.
“As Head Girl 2025 of Curro Secunda, I’m looking forward to inspiring others, building a strong team and making a positive impact.
My personal goals for my leadership year is to develop new skills and overcome challenges. My goals for my school is to create a safe and welcoming environment.
The qualities of Curro Secunda that stand out most is our academic excellence.
Adjustments or changes that I would like to see happen at our school is to get more supporters with social, cultural and sport events.
To persuade someone to make Curro Secunda their choice of school, I will let them know that my school provides a high quality education with a lot of resources. We are literally the best school in town!
My strongest leadership trait is that I am an active listener.
To get collaboration (commitment) from my team, it is important to first build trust and have open communication.
The person I look up to the most is my mom. She’s the strongest woman I know.
What I daydream most about is becoming rich.
The career I want to pursue after school is Chartered Accountant. I would like to study at Nelson Mandela University or Wits University.
