Grey College Hockey. 19 May 2023 marks a significant day for Grey College Hockey. After a long and daunting project that started in November 2022, the official opening of our new Astro facility took place on 19 May 2023. This special occasion took place before the kick-off of Grey Kollege’ annual inter-school with Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool, Affies.

Upgrades to the Grey College Astro facility include new LED lights, paved stands for increased seating capacity, a new E-Layer, sprinkler system, and Astro surface, as well as a highly anticipated FIH fives court with boards that will provide many hours of fun and enduring training all surrounded by upgraded fencing.

Grey College would like to thank their key stakeholders for the patience and support they received. To name a few they thank their parents, Grey Reunie, Braam Fischer trust, the governing body, and headmasters of both high and primary school.

Grey College look forward to seeing how this state-of-the-art facility will empower and encourage the future Grey College hockey generations to come.
