schoolsthatrockSchoemanpark Junior Open Golf. Schoeman Park Golf club hosted the first junior tournament on the 20 January as well as the Grey Golf Championship for 2024.
The following Grey boys performed well:
Schoemanpark Junior Open:
U15 Division:
- Hanro Muller finished tied 1st and they went back for a 3-way playoff. Hanro finished 2nd after the playoffs.
U19 Division:
- Hendré van der Watt came 1st in the u/19 division.
Overall results of the tournament:
- Hendré van der Watt wins the tournament 3 under par, with rounds of 74 and a great round of 67.
- Hendré is also the winner of the Grey Golf Championship.
Kroonstad Junior Open:
Kroonstad hosted the 2nd junior tournament on the 10th of February. The following boys performed well:
U15 Division:
- Hanro Muller – 1st and wins the division.
U19 Division:
- Hendré van der Watt – First in the U/19 division and wins the overall tournament 4 under par, with rounds of 70 and 68.
Oppenheimer Junior Open:
Welkom het die naweek die 3de junior toernooi op 24 Februarie aangebied. Die volgende seuns het goed presteer:
O15 afdeling:
- Hanro Muller – eindig 2de
O19 afdeling:
- Hendré van der Watt – Eerste in die O/19-afdeling en wen die algehele toernooi, met rondtes van 74 en 72.
