Interprovincial Chess – Curro Westbrook learner excels

Interprovincial Chess. Curro Westbrook Gqeberha learner, Colton Viljoen, earned his EP colour’s for chess. Colton is only 7 years old. He participated in the Interprovincial chess tournament at Mentors Kraal.

He represented Nelson Mandela Bay, in Jeffrey’s Bay from the 4 October to 8 October. Colton played chess for four days and his longest match was 1 hour and 30 minutes. That’s a lot of concentration for a 7 year old!

Colton will continue to go to Nationals to represent his Province in Johannesburg.
