schoolsthatrockSaints Sport. It was a good term for sport at St Andrew’s School, Bloemfontein. Their golf and squash became the Free State representatives in the respective codes and will be taking part at the national tournaments coming up. Saints also have an unprecedented number of hockey boys representing Southern Free State this year!
Top Schools Squash. Saints beat Grey College 18-0 to make it through to the SA Top Schools Squash Tournament. It will be held in Pietermaritzburg from 9 to12 August.

Golf
St Andrew’s Golf team finished 1st on the Mangaung Schools League Order of Merit with 170 points. The runners up where Grey College in 2nd place with 148 points.
They will be playing in the Schools League Final on the 24th of June at Bloemfontein Golf Club. The top 4 will be playing out for a spot in the National tournament to be hosted at Sun City.

Rugby
St Andre’w junior rugby boys have also been recognised as part of the Craven Week Team. We have 8 boys playing in age groups U12 – U13. Vuyisa Ndzipo – our junior rugby coach has also been selected as Team Manager. Photo attached.
