CAC Track African Championships. Joshua Dike, an enthusiastic Grade 12 learner from Curro Aurora in Randburg, has recently won gold in Nigeria for cycling.

Joshua represented the South African junior men’s team at the CAC Track African Continental Championships. The championships was in Abuja, Nigeria, in July. Joshua won a total of 4 medals. Individually he won gold in the Elimination race. In the Points race, his team won gold in the Team Pursuit. In the Madison event, he and his partner took gold.

South Africa dominated the 2021 edition in Cairo and this year proved no different as athletes from around 20 countries competed in this prestigious event.

Joshua has been selected to represent South Africa at the Junior World Track Cycling Championship in Tel Aviv, Israel from Tuesday, 23 until Saturday, 27 August 2022.
