Easter. Curro Castle Aurora, Randburg, is where Creativity, Community and Collabaration come to life! The Curro Castle Aurora learners celebrated Easter this year in style!
Each learner confidently walked into school wearing an Easter bonnet that they created with their family. The learner’s creativity was outstanding. Hats came in all different shapes and sizes. During the morning there was an egg hunt, and the learners were delighted as they don’t often get sugary treats at school.
With all the fun and excitement, the learners also reflected on the concept of sharing, with their friends, family, and the community. Castle parents generously donated boxes of Easter Eggs. In collaboration with HotCares, children in the wider community were spoilt by the ‘Easter Bunny’ too. “It is vital we start to create a sense of awareness of ‘giving back’ in young children, so that they become good citizens in our community as adults.”
