SA National Swimming Championships. Curro Aurora swimmer, Alexia McCabe, swims with Olympic Champions. Alexia McCabe is a Grade 10 learner and proud ambassador of Curro Aurora. She has successfully competed and qualified at the SA National Swimming Championships from 6 to 11 April in Gqeberha.

Alexia who has been a passionate and dedicated swimmer achieved outstanding results in her age group. She now ranks third in the 400m freestyle division. For her 200m freestyle, she was privileged enough to warm up next to Olympic swimmer Tatjana Schoeman. Alexia was placed 5th in South Africa overall for her age group.

Alexia was also selected to swim the 4 x 200m relay for team Gauteng. As a team, they finished off fourth overall.
