Science Centre – St Andrew’s School for Girls opening of Science Centre

Science. The opening of the Centre – dedicated to women in science. St Andrew’s School for Girls, Bedfordview, recently celebrated the opening of the Dinaledi Science Centre. It is in honour of beloved past Exec Head, Pauline Jackson. The centre was blessed by Rev Alison Thabethe. The official opening took place by Pauline Jackson. The centre is dedicated to encouraging girls to pursue studies and careers in the various fields of the subject.

Brass Sculpture calle Becoming, stands proudy next to the centre, reminding the girls to reach for the stars and become all they dream to be!
