The 5 boys who served their community

”Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can”. John Wesley.
It was so touching to see some Westville Boys’ High School boys tirelessly putting these words into action. They served their community at the Westville Mall yesterday, by helping people move their shopped goods to their vehicles.
“As a coach and member of staff I always speak to the boys about serving and being more than just pupils or sportsmen. It made me so proud to see these humble boys serve so willingly. This has been a difficult time for all of us and there is word of so many people and communities coming together to serve. This is the spirit which lifts up my spirits even when my heart is breaking.”
“Well done to the Griffins all over who are extending themselves and spreading love, unity and service to people around them. I urge all of you to continue to do what you can, where you can, no matter how big or small. I believe that service to your fellow man surpasses any accolade achieved in the classroom or the sports field. Martin Luther King said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?”
“Mr King, we are not shrinking from our purpose. Thank you Njabulo Zulu for these words, and to our boys for seeing a need yesterday, and stepping in to fill the gap. We pray for continued safety for our community, our province and our country.
