St Andrew’s School for Girls and Old Girl celebrated Senior School Academic Awards Assembly

St Andrew’s School for Girls celebrated Old Girl, Tsakani Maluleke (1993), at the Senior School Academic Awards Assembly this morning. She is South Africa’s auditor-general, the first woman to hold this position in the supreme audit institution’s 109-year history.

Academic awards are calculated on the subject year mark achieved at the end of the 2020 academic year.

At St Andrew’s, Junior Colours for academics are presented to a girl who achieved 80% or above in 9 or more Learning Areas in Grade 9, or has accumulated 80% in 18 or more Learning Areas in Grade 8 & 9. Michela Di Pietro, Fei-Sheng Hsiao, Rufaro Moyo, Krisha Patel, Kyra Zhang, Sasha Bellis, Monet Buchner, Makanaka Dumbu, Lin-Lin Liu, Juliana Million, Tinaye Muchandigona, Lara Obadic and Lok-Jun Sam are awarded with Junior Colours for academics.
