Marilet Blom, gr. 8-atleet van Oranje het Dinsdag by ‘n ope-byeenkoms van Atletiek Sentraal Noordwes in Potchefstroom tweede gekom in die 300m-hekkies vir meisies o.15.
Marilet (foto regs) tyd van 45.83 is haar persoonlike beste vir die jaar.
Ook die matrikulant Lienke Snyman (links op foto) het in die 3000m vir vroue o.20 tweede geëindig. Haar tyd was 10:29:71.
