St Andrew’s School for Girls’ beautiful Steam Centre. Words from the Academic Head of Sciences, Catherine Warrender – “Yesterday we had final snagging and I can’t believe we’re finally done. I distinctly remember the first meeting with the architects: trying to subtly google Loffelstein and retaining walls, whilst having whiplash was tricky. I was clueless and couldn’t believe I had been trusted in some ways with this project. But almost two years, a pandemic, and side-hustle of teaching matrics later, we’re here Gill. It is quite exciting to think of the science brains that will come out of here, and to finally get girls up to speed. Thank you to my friends who have allowed me to mostly keep my sense of humour throughout this.”
Gill you’ve been such a rock and great boss!
