My name is Courtney Westley. I am in Farrar Grade 12. I started at St Andrew’s in Grade 11. My fondest memory is of the first day of matric, when everyone arrived at school wearing their white jerseys for the first time – despite it being the middle of summer – simply because of the excitement to be in Grade 12. Of course, with that came all the laughs in the matric comms and lawns. St Andrew’s has taught me the importance of supporting, understanding and appreciating one another through the fun as well as the tough days. My words of advice to the younger girls: while it is important to work hard, it is equally as important to enjoy all the small things, such as laughing with your friends at break and remembering that life is about having fun and making memories. After school I plan on studying Environmental Sciences.
