schoolsthatrockThe Glenwood Old Boys’ Weekend started off on a high note with a number of old boys joining the Acting Principal and staff for assembly, as well as a walk-about at the School on Friday 25 May 2018.
The Glenwood Old Boys’ Dinner was held in the School Hall. The event was well-attended by a number of Old Boys, especially the 50 year, 40 year and 30 year groups.
Mr Neil Powell was the Guest Speaker. Mr Powell is a former South African rugby union player and currently the coach of the South African 7s National team. He coached the team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where they finished third.
Erik Aissing, current chairman of the Old Boys’ Association and Head Prefect from 1993, was the Master of Ceremonies.
Special thanks to our Acting Principal, Mrs Barnes, who made the event very special for all the Old Boys in attendance.
