The first Champion of Champions tournament of the High Schools 7’s Series will be held at Camp Discovery just north of Pretoria on 20 and 21 October 2017.
Glenwood High School’s First Sevens Team will leave for Pretoria on 19 October.
Gareth Jones (Head Prefect 1999) handed over the team kit, sponsored by Swanlite, during a function today.
The series is organised by well-known sevens promotor Darryl Weir. In addition Camp Discovery will host and u13 and u15 tournament alongside the main event. The champions of the u15 tournaments during the High Schools 7’s Series will also receive automatic invites.
The participating teams in the Champion of Champions Tournament is: Goudveld, Diamantveld, Rustenburg, DHS, Glenwood, Noordheuwel, Paul Roos, Waterkloof, Montana, Westville, Merensky, Brandwag.
All the tournaments of the series are live streamed by Fanstream.co.za. Players are also identified by Travel and Sport during the series to be included in teams who will participate at the Dubai Sevens.
