U15 Racket Festival. Over the past weekend, Michaelhouse proudly hosted its fourth annual U15 Racket Festival, welcoming talented young players from Kearsney College, Curro Hillcrest, Westville Boys’ High School, St John’s College, Helpmekaar Kollege, and Northwood School.
A Celebration of Racket Sports
The festival promoted participation across tennis, padel, pickleball, table tennis, and touch tennis, creating an exciting and competitive environment for boys to showcase their skills. It offered invaluable opportunities for up‑and‑coming athletes to test themselves against some of the country’s best junior talent, gaining both match experience and exposure to diverse formats of the game.
Spirit and Sportsmanship
The weekend was marked by excellent sportsmanship, enthusiastic support, and a consistently high standard of competition across all codes. Feedback from schools was overwhelmingly positive, with players and coaches praising the smooth organisation and the chance to be part of such a unique event.
Standout Performances
Special congratulations go to Brett Roberts and Kiran Hattingh, whose outstanding performances added to the festival’s success and excitement.
