Woodridge College Water Polo. It was a big weekend in the pool for Woodridge water polo, with the teams displaying grit, growth, and great spirit across all age groups.
1st Team Girls
The girls battled against top national opposition at the prestigious Brian Baker Tournament. They closed out the qualifiers with a dominant win and pushed Collegiate all the way to penalties in the 17/18 playoff. A resilient showing that reflects their determination and sets a strong foundation for the season ahead.
1st Team Boys
The boys were in fine form, securing three impressive victories over Pearson, Glenwood, and ECO Eels. Their composure, teamwork, and attacking flair were on full display, marking them as a formidable force this season.
2nd Team Boys
Mixed results did not dampen the spirit of the 2nd Team. They fought hard, earning a strong win against Pearson’s 2nd Team while gaining valuable experience against tough opposition. Their resilience promises continued growth.
U15 Boys
Facing a challenging draw, the U15s competed with determination throughout. Each match offered important lessons and experience against quality teams, building character and sharpening their skills.
U14 Boys
The U14s were outstanding, producing two dominant victories over Pearson and St Andrew’s. Their performances highlighted the exciting talent rising through the ranks and the bright future of Woodridge water polo.
