An incredible performance from Keagan Bahlmann, who secured 5th place in the U19 category at the UIPM Biathle World Championships in Mossel Bay. This prestigious event brought together athletes from across the globe. They competed in the demanding run-swim-run format, showcasing endurance, speed, and determination.
Keagan’s result not only places him among the top junior athletes worldwide. But also earns him a coveted Junior Springbok qualification. This is a milestone that marks him as one of South Africa’s brightest young talents in modern pentathlon disciplines.
Competing against elite athletes from over 28 countries, Keagan demonstrated resilience and skill on the international stage. Proudly flying the flag for both South Africa and Northwood School. His success highlights the strength of local talent and the growing prominence of South African athletes in hybrid sports like biathle and triathle.
