Speech Night 2025 shines. Speech Night remains the crown jewel of the St Charles College calendar, and this year’s event was no exception. The Samukele Khumalo Arena was once again transformed into a stunning venue, setting the stage for an evening dedicated to honouring the achievements of our boys and the broader Saints community over the past year.
Taking pride of place before the stage was the Matric Class of 2025. They were surrounded by their peers, teachers, and families as they savoured their final formal function of their school careers. It was a poignant moment, filled with reflection and pride.
A standout feature of the evening was the address delivered by Head Boy Matthew Bishop. His speech offered a heartfelt glimpse into life at the College through his eyes. He also shared cherished memories and experiences that have shaped his journey. His words resonated deeply with all in attendance, reminding us of the enduring spirit of St Charles College.
Another eagerly awaited moment was the announcement of the 2026 prefect body. Congratulations to all those appointed as Prefects and Council Leaders. Leading the team next year will be James Dickason as Head Boy, supported by Deputies Rayhan Khonat, Troy Godley, Daniel Gurney, and Thandokuhle Nyawo. “We look forward to seeing them uphold the values of the College with integrity and enthusiasm.”
