Gymnastics. Somerset College is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Sofia Kröger. Sofia is a Grade 8 student whose dedication and talent in gymnastics continue to inspire. She recently earned her Western Province colours, a prestigious recognition awarded to athletes who demonstrate excellence at provincial-level competitions.
Competing in the Level 8 category for ages 14 and over, Sofia delivered a remarkable performance in the floor routine, securing 3rd place among a highly competitive field. Her artistry, precision, and athleticism stood out, earning her well-deserved applause and admiration.
Sofia’s journey doesn’t stop there. She has qualified to represent her province at the South African Gymnastics Games, set to take place in Johannesburg in October 2025. This national event brings together the country’s top gymnasts, and Sofia’s participation is a testament to her hard work and rising potential in the sport.
