ASA-Landloopkampioenskappe. 🏃♂️Uitmuntende Prestasie: Hanlo en Dian Barkhuizen gekies vir ASWD-landloopspan!
Hoërskool Punt, Mosselbaai, is uiters trots om aan te kondig dat twee van hul talentvolle atlete, Hanlo Barkhuizen (o.14 seuns) en Dian Barkhuizen (o.17 seuns) opgeneem is in die ASWD-landloopspan. Dit is ’n merkwaardige prestasie wat getuig van harde werk, toewyding en uitsonderlike atletiese vermoë.
Die broers sal op 6 September na Middelburg reis om deel te neem aan die Suid-Afrikaanse ASA-kampioenskappe, waar hulle nie net ons provinsie nie, maar ook hul hardloopklub met trots sal verteenwoordig. Hierdie nasionale byeenkoms bring die beste jong atlete van regoor die land bymekaar, en Hanlo en Dian se deelname is ’n bewys van hul plek onder dié elite.
🎉 Baie geluk, Hanlo en Dian! Julle is ’n inspirasie vir mede-leerlinge en jong sportlui. Ons hou duim vas vir ’n uitmuntende wedloop en weet julle sal Hoërskool Punt se naam hoog hou.

Point High School, Mossel Bay, is incredibly proud to announce that two of our talented athletes, Hanlo Barkhuizen (U.14 boys) and Dian Barkhuizen (U.17 boys). They have been selected to represent the ASWD Cross Country Team. This is a remarkable accomplishment that reflects their dedication, discipline, and exceptional athletic ability.
On 6 September, the brothers will travel to Middelburg to compete in the South African ASA Championships. There, they will proudly represent both their province and their running club. This prestigious national event brings together the country’s top young athletes, and Hanlo and Dian’s inclusion is a testament to their place among the best.
