Eunice High School’s rising equestrian star, Lané Laubscher, and her magnificent pony, Lemax Cosmic, delivered a powerhouse performance at the 2025 South African Youth Dressage Championships, held at the world-class Kyalami Equestrian Park.
Together, this dynamic duo etched their names into national sporting history by clinching two championship titles and earning the revered Victor Ludorum award — a pinnacle of excellence in South African dressage.
Championship Titles:
- Individual SA Pony Rider Open Dressage Champion (Dressage SA’s highest technical accolade for U17 riders)
- Individual SA Pony Rider Open Freestyle Dressage Champion (The top freestyle honour for U17 riders in the country)
- Victor Ludorum Winner (Awarded to the most successful individual rider across events)
Beyond her individual triumphs, Lané also received Free State provincial colours in recognition of her contributions to the gold medal-winning Free State Sports Confederation Dressage team — a testament to her skill and team spirit.
Her commitment, grace, and synergy with Lemax Cosmic have captured the admiration of the equestrian community, and her victory is nothing short of inspirational.
