Leadership Development Workshop. In a bid to strengthen collaboration and leadership among Grade 10 students, the Prefects of 2025 at Grantleigh School, Richards Bay, organized a highly engaging Leadership Development Workshop.
The event focused on fostering teamwork and bridging the gap between new and returning students as well as different classes and tutor groups.
The workshop featured a series of interactive activities and challenges. It was designed to build essential leadership skills such as trust, communication, and problem-solving. Students were encouraged to work together, learning firsthand how effective leadership is rooted in strong teamwork and mutual support.
“Strong teams achieve far greater success than individuals working alone,” said one of the workshop facilitators. “This workshop was a great opportunity for students. They not only develop their leadership potential but also to connect with their peers and understand the importance of collaboration in achieving common goals.”
The initiative was well received by Grade 10s. They left the workshop feeling motivated and ready to face the challenges of leadership in the years to come.
Grantleigh School continues to emphasize the value of student-led initiatives, empowering young leaders to make a lasting impact within the school community.
