Curro Durbanville. 25 Years ago, on 15 July 1998, Dr. Chris van der Merwe and Boetie Ungerer embarked on an incredible journey as they opened Curro Durbanville. With great passion and vision, they welcomed 28 children into their first classroom at the charming Bergsig church in Durbanville.
Fast forward to today, and they celebrate the remarkable growth of CURRO. From that humble beginning, the school and company have flourished into the largest independent educational institution in South Africa. Over the past 25 years, CURRO has been dedicated to providing quality education, nurturing young minds, and empowering future generations.
As Curro commemorate this milestone, let’s applaud the visionaries, Dr. Chris van der Merwe and Boetie Ungerer, for their unwavering commitment to education. Their legacy lives on through CURRO, inspiring generations to dream big and achieve greatness.
