🏃♂️ Grey College Primary shines at Free State Laser Run Championships
Zayn Wansbury and Ethan Fourie, two talented learners from Grey College Primary, delivered outstanding performances at the Free State Laser Run Championships held on 13 September. The Laser Run event combines running as well as precision shooting. The championships drew strong competition from across the province.
Zayn Wansbury claimed first place with an exceptional display of skill and endurance. Ethan Fourie secured second place — a testament to their dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Thanks to their remarkable achievements, both Zayn and Ethan have earned the honour of representing Grey College Primary and the Free State province at the World Championships. It is taking place this December in Mossel Bay. This prestigious event will also see them compete against top young athletes from around the globe.

Laser Run. 🏃♂️ Grey Kollege Primêr skitter by Vrystaat Laser Run Kampioenskappe.
Zayn Wansbury en Ethan Fourie, twee talentvolle leerders van Grey Kollege Primêr, het op 13 September met uitnemende prestasie aan die Vrystaat Laser Run Kampioenskappe deelgeneem. Die kompetisie toets atlete se vermoë in beide hardloop en skiet. Dit het vanjaar ’n hoë vlak van deelname en mededinging getoon.
Zayn Wansbury het die eerste plek behaal met ’n indrukwekkende vertoning. Ethan Fourie het die tweede plek ingeneem. Dit is ’n bewys van hul toewyding, uithouvermoë en sportmanskap.
Hierdie uitsonderlike prestasies het daartoe gelei dat beide Zayn en Ethan gekies is om Grey Kollege Primêr en die Vrystaat te verteenwoordig by die Wêreldkampioenskappe. Dit vind plaas gedurende Desember in Mosselbaai. Dit is ’n besondere eer en ’n geleentheid om teen die wêreld se beste jong atlete mee te ding.
Grey Kollege Primêr is uiters trots op hierdie twee kampioene. Die skool wens hulle alle sterkte toe met hul voorbereiding en deelname aan die internasionale byeenkoms.
