SA Schools Cross Country. 🏆 Chelsea van Dyk Clinches Third Consecutive title.
St Dunstan’s College, Benoni, is beaming with pride as one of its rising stars, Chelsea van Dyk, delivered yet another stellar performance at the SA Schools Cross Country Championships, held in White River this past weekend.
Competing in the Girls U14 4km race, Chelsea conquered a challenging, rain-soaked, and muddy course with remarkable grit and determination, crossing the finish line in an impressive 13 minutes and 44 seconds. Her victory not only secured her third consecutive title but also marked her sixth consecutive win across both Athletics South Africa (ASA) and SA Schools Cross Country Championships since 2023—a feat that places her among the most dominant young athletes in South African cross-country history.
Chelsea’s consistency, resilience, and competitive spirit continue to inspire her peers and coaches alike. Her achievements reflect not only personal excellence but also the strength of the athletic program at St Dunstan’s College.
