On Friday, 14th March, International Pi Day, an event marking the rounded value of Pi (3.14) and the birthday of renowned scientist Albert Einstein.
The Grade 11 students of Grantleigh Schools, Richards Bay, organised a maths-themed bake sale, offering a fun way to connect students with the wonders of mathematics. In addition, participants engaged in challenging pi-themed puzzles, with the chance to win delicious treats from the sale. The three students who cracked all five puzzles were awarded free items from the bake sale.
Congratulations to Nthuthuko Mchunu (Grade 10), Lekai Chen (Grade 10), and Sushrut Atalkar (Grade 8) for their outstanding achievements.
The event was a great success, combining fun, learning, and delicious rewards in true Grantleigh spirit!
