KZN Midlands Rugby. Wembley College is thrilled to celebrate a proud moment in their sporting history. Three of Wembley’s exceptional students — Michael Silk, Lee Pieterse, and Kai Wellmann — were officially capped for the KZN Midlands Rugby Team at a prestigious capping ceremony held on Thursday, 3 July.
These rising stars have also earned their place in the elite 24-man squad. They will represent the KZN Midlands at the highly anticipated Inter-Provincial Rugby Tournament in Reitz this week. Their selection is also a testament to their unwavering commitment, athletic excellence, and the countless hours of training they’ve dedicated to the sport.
Adding to this momentous achievement, Wembley College is proud to announce that Mr Dylan Kroon, Wembley College’s dynamic Head of Sport, has also been appointed Head Coach of the KZN Midlands team. His leadership, passion, and strategic insight will no doubt inspire the squad to reach new heights.
🏆 This is more than just a sporting milestone. It’s a celebration of teamwork, perseverance, and the spirit of Wembley College. Wembley salute their scholars and staff for their outstanding contributions both on and off the field.
“To Michael, Lee, Kai, and Coach Kroon — go out there and make us proud. The entire Wembley community is cheering you on every step of the way!”
